The Second Amendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Our proposed Repeal Amendment:

Section 1. The second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent power to regulate and ban the sale, possession, manufacture, use, import, export, and commerce in weapons of all kinds, including firearms and ammunition. No compensation will be due to any person whose property interests are affected by government action pursuant to this Section.
